The Met office has issued a YELLOW WARNING to be aware of snow on Sunday. There is great deal of uncertainty at this stage, but be warned we are not out of winter quite yet! in the meantime......
Today: A cold, bright start with scattered showers in the north and west giving some icy stretches. Cloud thickening through the morning, with outbreaks of rain, sleet and hill snow developing more widely, turning persistent in the west later. Maximum Temperature 7 °C.
Tonight: Generally cloudy, with occasional outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow. The snow mainly over hills. Some clearer spells developing later. Cold, with a risk of ice and frost. Minimum Temperature 0 °C.
Friday: Often cloudy with outbreaks of mainly light rain or hill snow, although with some bright or sunny spells too, particularly through the morning. Maximum Temperature 7 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Cold. Saturday mainly cloudy with a little light rain and hill snow. More persistent rain and hill snow by Sunday, with snow possible to lower levels later and during Monday.
