Rob Howley: 'Belief and confidence' back for Wales

Wales interim coach Rob Howley admitted "there is obvious relief" among the players and coaches, after they beat France 16-6 in Paris to record a first win in nine test matches.

Howley said he'd been assuring his players that you "don't become a bad team overnight", and "the belief and confidence you can get from this result is so important and we can take that now over to Italy."

George North scored the only try in Paris, as Wales beat France 16-6. It put an end to a run of eight successive defeats for Wales, and got their Six Nations campaign off and running after the opening weekend defeat to Ireland.
