The snow risk that had been talked about for days didn't really amount to much here in Wales but that doesn't mean we won't see the odd snow flurry over the next couple of days and particularly tonight.
This afternoon is generally grey and cloudy, a few showers easing across Pembrokeshire, elsewhere the odd wintry shower inland. The cloud is trapping cold air under it, so highs of 4-5C but inland it will be cold with highs struggling near as low 2C.
Tonight a weak front turns a little more active as it drifts across Wales, bringing a light covering of snow even to lower levels. It's not snowman building amounts...just around a centimetre. It will be cold everywhere with lows around 0C.
A few wintry showers will linger through Tuesday morning and it will be a cold start to the day too. There may be some slippery surfaces around to take care. Later in the day the remaining showers should die away to leave a cold, grey and overcast afternoon. Highs again from 2-5C.
