It was a dreary day for many parts of Wales but western counties did see a little winter sunshine.
Tonight a weak front turns a little more active as it drifts across Wales, bringing a light covering of snow even to lower levels. It's not snowman building amounts...just around a centimetre. It will be cold everywhere with lows around 0C.
A few wintry showers will linger through Tuesday morning and it will be a cold start to the day too. There may be some slippery surfaces around to take care. Later in the day the remaining showers should die away to leave a cold, grey and overcast afternoon. Highs again from 2-5C.
There will be some more rain pushing across Wales through Tuesday night into Wednesday, the leading edge of this may well bring some transient snow before turning to rain. Wednesday itself is expected to be a wet day before the weather turns a little milder towards the end of the week.
