Bright for some, but chilly everywhere
This afternoon sees plenty of cloud across Wales, but for some there will be a few glimpses of brightness. We continue to see chilly air being blown in from the east so it will be cold with highs of just 2-4C
Tonight cloud builds from the west. Temperatures fall to around -1C, but in clear spells it could fall further.
Wednesday morning sees the arrival of a rain band which when hitting the cold air readily turns to snow before turning back to rain. There could be significant falls in the north east of Wales where a yellow warning has been issued.
Later in the day heavier rain will bring milder temperatures and wash away the earlier snow. Highs between a wintry 1C and a milder 5-6C further west. It will be rather windy here too.
