Tonight an active cold front brings more heavy rain across the country, washing away the snow, but thanks to the timing will see temperatures continuing to rise during the evening and overnight.
Thursday sees the rain clearing early to bring brighter weather across Wales, a dry start to the day too. Into the afternoon we may see some showers develop but likewise parts of the country should enjoy some fine winter sunshine. Highs of 8-9C which will feel rather pleasant!
A ridge of high pressure should mean Friday is sunny and settled. That ridge squeezes out the rain that was expected to arrive on Saturday meaning the beginning of the weekend will be dry but cloudy, then there should be some more glimpses of sun around on Sunday.
