Two people arrested at Ceredigion meat plant

Dyfed-Powys Police says two men have been arrested at the Ceredigion meat plant where operations were suspended on Tuesday in an investigation into 'horsemeat' being mis-sold as beef.

A 64-year-old man and a 42-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of offences under the Fraud Act, at Farmbox Meats at Llandre, near Aberystwyth.

ITV Cymru Wales understands that one of the men is the owner of the plant, Dafydd Raw-Rees.
