A weak warm front arrived overnight bringing cloud and a mix of murky drizzly weather, that drifts slowly across the country during the day. So Saturday won't be the most spectacular start to a weekend.
The front moves away later in the day allowing western parts to brighten up a little. Even without the sunshine it will be mild with highs of 8-9C.
Sunday sees sunny spells returning, but there's a gradual drop in temperatures over the next few days with some overnight frosts too.
