120 jobs under threat at Pembroke window company
One hundred and twenty jobs are under threat at a window manufacturing company in Pembroke Dock.
The UK Window Group is proposing to close the Cambrian Windows facility on the outskirts of Pembroke.
In a statement today, bosses said the company will continue to operate as normal while staff at Cambrian Windows go through a 90 day consultation.
– Statement from UK Window GroupWe would like to stress that at the moment this is a proposal and that no final decision has been made. Up to this time, we believe that we have taken all steps possible in order to avoid this situation. However, trading conditions have continued to be significantly tougher than anticipated.
