Unemployment in Wales is up by 6,000, to 8.6 percent. That is despite a fall across the UK.
The disappointing figures come on the day research by Cardiff Business School shows Wales' small businesses are missing out on Welsh Govenment support because many don't know it exists.
Critics say too much emphasis is being placed on dividing the welsh economy into sector panels.
They say that is overlooking our small firms which provide the majority of jobs.
