The last time we had clear blue skies seems like an age ago. Sadly there's no let up in the gloom over the next few days.
A cloudy night tonight, enough cloud to stop temperatures falling below zero, but it will still be rather cold. Again some drizzle continues in the east.
Tuesday feels like deja vu... chilly start, brighter in the west, drizzly in the east. Into the afternoon the cloud fills in the brighter spells but we may see a degree or so higher on the thermometer at 7C. Lighter breezes may make it feel a little less cold.
There may be some brighter spells around on Wednesday and Thursday but cloud returns on Friday. Temperatures become a little less cold but they remain below par for the time of year.
