Some bright spells, but generally cold and cloudy

Today: Cloudy and cold for most, with a northeasterly breeze. Although mainly dry, there is a small chance of a little light rain or drizzle at times. The best of limited bright or sunny intervals should appear in the west later. Maximum Temperature 7 °C.

Tonight: Rather cold, cloudy and breezy, with the odd spot of rain possible from thicker cloud. A few areas may see a slight frost given any limited cloud breaks. Minimum Temperature 2 °C.

Wednesday: Starting cold and rather cloudy, however brighter conditions should progressively spread in from the east into the afternoon, with most seeing sunshine before dusk, except perhaps the far west. Maximum Temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Mainly dry, with a mixture of sunny periods and cloudier conditions with a little drizzle. Remaining on the cold side, especially in the breeze. Overnight frosts remain likely.
