The weather is set for a big change over the next few days, turning from a very mild 17.5C at Trawscoed earlier in the week to the possible return of snow next week.
Tonight, however, the cloud insulates us, so no frost. Lows of 5-7C. Further south there could be some mist and fog developing.
Saturday seas colder air arriving from the east and a rainband moving up from the south. Where the two meet across north Wales later in the day, the rain could turn wintry. Temperatures could dip for some into the afternoon with highs of 4-6C. Further south it may be brighter and highs of 8-9C.
There will be a few more wintry showers through Saturday night into Sunday morning by they should clear to leave a cloudy and cold end to the weekend. Temperatures continue to fall on Sunday and over the next few days with frosts by night and an increasing risk of snow!
