In weather terms it's Spring already and temperatures should be on the rise. unfortunately mother nature appears to have other ideas.
Tonight temperatures fall to lows of 1C. The wind increases and a weak rain band drifts south across the country. In places this could fall as snow.
Sunday sees the rain band drifting further south. During the early part of the day it may well cause up to 3cm of snow to fall before it peters out and turns back to rain. It will be bitterly cold in the wind with highs of 2-5C.
It remains bitterly cold over the next few days thanks to a combination of already low temperatures and a strong wind blowing in from a generally northerly direction.
