We may be marching towards mid-March but the weather seems to be marching back towards mid-winter.
This afternoon sees some rain clipping Pembrokeshire and a weak cold front bringing some snow and sleet across many parts of the country, albeit for a short time. Highs of 2-5C but in an increasing wind it will feel sub zero. It will be gusty too.
Overnight it will be a hard penetrating frost in spite of the wind. Temperatures fall to minus 3C, a few snow flurries will continue through the night. Winds could gust to over 50mph.
Monday starts bright and sunny, but cold and windy across northern and central parts of Wales. It will turn cloudy during the afternoon here joining the conditions in the south. Highs tomorrow of just 1-3C and with the strong northeasterly winds make it feel more like -5C with the wind chill.
