Some wintry flurries, but bitterly cold everywhere!

Today: A very cold start with ice in places. Then good deal of dry and bright weather with lengthy spells of sunshine, though still feeling bitterly cold. A few snow showers are possible, most likely towards the east. Maximum Temperature 5 °C.

Tonight: Another cold night with a widespread and hard frost and some ice. A few wintry showers feeding in on the brisk northerly wind, becoming more widespread through the early hours. Minimum Temperature -2 °C.

Wednesday: Another icy start, then a mix of sunny spells and wintry showers, mainly falling as snow inland, but a mix of rain and sleet near the coast. Still feeling cold. Maximum Temperature 6 °C.
