Possible metro system for Cardiff and surrounding area
Ideas for a new light rail and tram system linking Cardiff with the surrounding area have been put forward in various forms in recent years, with the The South Wales Integrated Transport Task Force set up last year to look specifically at plans.
Last week, Cardiff Council unveiled plans to improve the city's business and transport infrastructure, and said building a tram link between Cardiff Bay and the city centre "remains a priority."
