A 67-year-old man who died after a crash on the M4 at the entrance to the Brynglas tunnels on Friday has been named as David Archer from Cardiff.

Police appeal for M4 crash witnesses

Police are appealing information from people who witnessed the fatal collision on the M4 Eastbound this morning.

A 67-year-old man from the Cardiff area died after a vehicle collided with a wall and an electrical sub-station.

CCTV shows a number of motorists stopping at the side of the vehicle immediately after the collision, officers are particularly interested in speaking to these people. They include heavy goods vehicle drivers, and one man who actually got out of the passenger side of a passing vehicle and walked over to have a look inside.
