A band of rain is crossing Wales today, but once it gets to the south eastern third of the country it's set to grind to a halt for a while.
This waving cold front will stick around until the early hours before finally clearing.
So, this afternoon sees rain across the south and east, meanwhile the weather should brighten a little to the north and west. It's remaining rather cold with highs of 6-8C which is still a good 4-5 Celsius cooler than we'd like at this time of year.
The rain continues for a while overnight before eventually clearing and with lows of 2-5C there is a chance of seeing some slippery patches developing.
Tomorrow starts generally dry with showers developing into the afternoon. Hopefully there will be some brightness around too. It will again be a chilly with highs of 6-8C.
