Flintshire County Council says the last few days have seen the heaviest local snowfall for 30 years.
It says it is prioritising snow clearance for critical health cases, on the advice of the health board and ambulance service.
- All waste and recycling collections have been suspended and are unlikely to take place this week
- There is significant disruption on the A5104 between Pontblyddyn and Rhydtalog because of fallen trees
- All outdoor sports facilities are closed, and leisure centres and libraries are also affected
