Some sunshine was on offer for most parts today, even if it was short lived.
Tonight there's another night of cold and frosty night conditions to be expected with lows of minus 3C, with temperatures falling even further in rural parts.
Good Friday starts in a generally fine and sunny vein. The wind will pick up across southern parts, so it will feel rather cold here. Into the afternoon cloud will build for many places. Out of the sunshine it will feel cold with highs of just 4-5C.
Temperatures at this time of year should be 11-13C!! Sadly we're going to be nowhere near those heady heights over the Easter weekend, more like 5-6 at best with a cool easterly breeze. At least there should be some bright spells around too.
