The chilly Easter weekend continues

The rather cold Easter break continues with no end in sight to the chilly but settled weather. In fact current predictions suggest this spell of chilly weather may last at least another week, but perhaps as much as two weeks!

There's another cold night ahead with lows of -2 to -3C, but down as low as -6C in rural sheltered spots.

It's a chilly start to the day but some decent sunny spells around too. As the day progresses we will see some cloud fill-in the sun in places but it will be bright and sunny for many. Feeling a little less cold with highs of 6-7C

The settled weather continues for the the foreseeable future with no big changes expected. That means temperatures well below the seasonal average, a chilly easterly breeze providing a wind chill but hopefully some spells of Spring sunshine.
