It's yet another day of sunny spells which, if it wasn't for a nagging northeasterly breeze, would feel very nice indeed. Sadly we're stuck with that breeze!
The weather is set now to change rather slowly to less cold but more unsettled conditions.
This afternoon is fine and sunny, there is a fair amount of cloud around, but the wind is pushing it around quickly. So sunny spells or even fine sunshine for all. Just rather breezy with highs of 8-9C if you're in sheltered spots.
Tonight the winds drops and with clear skies we'll see another hard frost. Generally minus 1 or 2C, but locally as low as -6C.
Saturday is a fine and settled day with light winds and not too much cloud. The light and variable wind allows temperatures to get into double figures for some places which we haven't seen in a while.
