It's been a glorious day today with lovely spring sunshine and virtually no significant cloud. As a result it's felt a little warmer than it has done lately. It's all change though as we return to more unsettled conditions over the next few days.
Tonight temperatures take a tumble to below freezing, not as cold as last night as high level cloud begins to push in from the west.
A bright start but rapidly turning cloudier during the day, the winds increasing too so that by the afternoon the chilly feel returns. Highs of 8 or 9C, but with the lack of sunshine and the stronger winds, you'll want to wrap up. This cloud spells the return of more unsettled weather next week.
There will be more cloud around on Monday with the chance of a shower with a strong breeze making it feel rather chilly.
From Tuesday we see the return of rain and April showers.
