Swansea City star Kemy Agustien has been banned from driving for a year, after receiving 39 penalty points.

The Dutch midfielder, 26, was ordered to pay £3,660 in fines and costs.

Neath Magistrates Court heard he was found to have committed a number of speeding offences and also run a red light.

His defence lawyer said the footballer was "embarrassed to find himself in this situation."
