Josh Thomas, who is based at Brompton Barracks, Chatham, was last seen outside the City Wall pub in Rochester on Wednesday April 10, after a night out with friends.
Friends have set up a Facebook group appealing for information as to the 18 year old's whereabouts. His family made an emotional appeal earlier this week for Josh to get in touch and today his father, Gary, is heading to Kent to join the search.
Josh is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue Lyall and Scott jumper with a white and red collar, grey jeans and white Converse trainers.
