North Wales Police are investigating after more than 1,000 bees were killed and nine hives damaged at the Bodelwyddan Castle Orchard.
But officers believe that the vandals would have suffered stings during the raid.
It's believed the damage was done between midday on 9 April and 18 April.
North Wales Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Investigation Support Team on 101, quoting reference number RC13059506 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
