Profits at the Port of Milford Haven were almost halved in 2012.

According to its annual results, released today, net profits before tax dropped from £8.1m to £4.2m.

It says changes in worldwide Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) flows have meant the Port has handled significantly fewer LNG-carrying ships.

Milford Haven is the biggest port in Wales, and the third largest in the UK, handling around 29 percent of Britain's seaborne trade in oil and gas.
