'Special' MMR clinics for Swansea health staff

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board has introduced "special staff MMR vaccination clinics".

They have been running at Morriston Hospital in Swansea since Saturday, between 8am and 8pm daily.

The clinics will run on a rolling basis at its other hospitals - Singleton in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and the Princess of Wales in Bridgend.

There are also MMR staff vaccination sessions in the occupational health departments at the four hospitals in the area.

The health board is encouraging any members of its staff "who are not immune, or who have not had two doses of MMR immunisation" to get vaccinated, as they "at risk of catching measles and spreading it to others."
