Pair arrested after coming down from Wrexham roof

Police in 'specialist public order uniforms' dealt with the incident.

Two men who spent more than 24 hours on a roof in Wrexham town centre have now come down after negotiations with specialist police officers.

The men, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including public order, and taken into custody at Wrexham police station.

Chester Street, in the centre of Wrexham, was closed for more than 24 hours.
