The Swansea-born Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons has said allegations he raped two men are "completely false".
Nigel Evans was released on police bail last night after being arrested and questioned on suspicion of rape and assault.
The alleged offences took place between July 2009 and March this year. The 55 year old former shadow Welsh Secretary is the MP for the Ribble Valley in Lancashire.
