It was a day of blustery showers and that's the pattern for the weekend too.
Through the evening the showers will ease before more showers develop overnight, mainly near the coast. Temperatures drop to around 5-8C and the wind persists.
Saturday sees a mixed bag of cloud, bright spells and showers. The wind should help push them through. Into the afternoon there is once again a risk of some of these showers turning thundery. It will feel rather chilly with a brisk westerly wind pinning back temperatures to 11-12C.
Sunday sees a warm front bringing light rain in from the west with more rain overnight into Monday. Monday and Tuesday sees a return to bright or sunny spells and showers.
