For many parts of Wales it's been a rather wet day today and through the afternoon a pulse of heavier rain has skirted southern and eastern parts of the country. During the evening this is set to head northeasterly across the UK before leaving Wales.
This evening rain continues to affect eastern parts of the country. As temperatures fall there's a chance that some of the rain could turn to wet snow. It will be a chilly night with lows of 4C. Further west it will dry out but remain generally cloudy.
Wednesday sees a return to sunny spells and showers. The winds swing northwesterly during the day so showers will become more widespread and scattered as the day progresses. Even with the bright spells around it will still feel cool with highs of 12C.
The rest of the week continues in an unsettled vein with sunny spells and showers and feeling rather cool. There's some uncertainty over the weekend's weather at present.
