Report: Jury hears Mark Bridger's police statements

The April Jones murder trial has heard that defendant Mark Bridger said he was relieved when he was arrested because he thought that meant that April had been found.

He said he had a mental block about what happened to April's body after, he says, he ran over her accidently.

He denies abducting and murdering the five year old as well as intending to pervert the course of justice.
