Tremor hits north Wales

Some people in north Wales were awoken by a tremor in the early hours of this morning. The British Geological Survey says the tremor had an estimated magnitude of 3.8 and was centred on the Llyn Peninsula.

Epicentre of tremor off Llyn Penisula

The British Geological Survey has confirmed there was an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 3.8 off the Llyn Peninsula this morning. It was detected at around 4.15am and people have reported feeling the tremor as far afield as Rhyl.
