The recently launched Arctic Star and Bomber Command clasp have had a huge response from veterans and their families across the country.
Our priority is to ensure that veterans get the recognition they deserve and we are working extremely hard to process these applications as quickly as possible.
- The Ministry of Defence says it has received around 21,000 applications to date, of which more than 3611 are from Arctic Convoy veterans.
- It says applications are being 'fast tracked' if an indication is given that the person is thought to be seriously ill.
