Wales, led by Robin McBryde this summer and missing rafts of players to the Lions tour of Australia, came through 22-18.
"A lot of the lads in the team hadn't played a lot of Test match rugby and hadn't played in a number of weeks, and factor in the heat and humidity, it was a good result."
