A quad biker suffered a broken arm and leg after falling from a cliff in Anglesey. The 40-year-old man was riding on the cliff top at Mackerel Rock, near Trearddur Bay, when the incident happened at around 1.10pm this afternoon.

His friend called the ambulance who in turn contacted Holyhead Coastguard to co-ordinate the rescue. A coastguard spokesman said the man is believed to have fallen between 30 and 40 feet on to the rocky foreshore below the cliff. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
