Cardiff City Football Club says the planned delegates trip to Kuala Lumpur has been postponed due to the current poor air quality in the region.

Representatives including Malky Mackay, David Kerslake, Craig Bellamy and Mark Hudson, were set to fly out on Thursday for a six day promotional tour

The trip would have seen the club visiting grassroots coaching initiatives, schools and meeting with the Malaysian press.

But following a state of emergency in certain districts, with schools being closed in Kuala Lumpur, the club has decided for health and safety reasons to postpone the trip.
