Whilst there is already plenty of cloud around for a Friday morning, there's more lurking to the north west and it's heading our way bringing another spell of wet weather.
The rest of the day sees rain heavy at times pushing across the country during the afternoon and evening. We're already in a mild block of air, so the earlier bright spells will allow temperatures to rise to 20C, but where the rain arrives first it will be cooler.
The rain clears through the evening and for a while there maybe some clear spells before more cloud arrives. There may also be some lingering light rain or drizzle. It will be a mild and muggy night with temperatures remaining in double figures.
Saturday sees more cloud and more drizzly outbreaks further west, meanwhile the best chance of seeing any breaks in the cloud are likely to be further east. It will still be mild and muggy in spite of the lack of sunshine.
