Cardiff Blues have confirmed that prop Gethin Jenkins will rejoin them this summer - and hooker Matthew Rees has signed from the Scarlets.

Jenkins has played 98 times for Wales, and has five Lions caps - but was sent home from this summer's tour to Australia due to injury.

Rees has played 58 Tests for Wales, and three Tests for the Lions in 2009.

Players confirmed to be leaving the Blues include Jamie Roberts, who is heading to Racing Metro in France, Ceri Sweeney and Tom James, who will join Exeter Chiefs, and Jason Tovey, who will play for the Dragons next year.
