The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall start their summer tour of Wales today.
Prince Charles, who is patron of the Dylan Thomas 100 Festival, and Camilla will meet museum staff and local schoolchildren at the poet's last home, the Boathouse in Laugharne.
Thomas lived at the Boathouse in Laugharne with his wife Caitlin and children Aeronwy, Llewlym and Colm form 1949 to 1953. During that time he wrote a number of a major works including Under Milk Wood. The Boathouse is now a heritage centre.
During their five day tour, the Royal couple will also open Wales' first rural work hub in Llandovery, visit Wales' largest independent publishing house in Llandysul and present long service medals to staff at Dyfed Powys Police.
