Grey start, brighter later

Thursday feels like a repeat of Wednesday with cloud and patchy light showery rain to start. As the day progresses the weak front moves to the south east. Sunny spells follow behind. A breezy afternoon but the combination of southwesterly breezes and sunshine means warmer weather and a high of 21C.

Whilst it may not be wall-to-wall sunshine over the next few days, the sun will put in a regular appearance, the breeze will drop down a little and the mercury will rise with temperatures reaching the mid twenties over the weekend in parts of Wales.
