Battle of Mametz Wood: A memorial to Welsh soldiers

The Battle of Mametz Wood was part of the Battle of the Somme - one of the largest fought during the First World War.

War memorial to be refurbished

A First World War memorial to the men of the 38th Welsh Division in France is to be refurbished with £7,000 of Welsh Government money.
