Bath Rugby is investigating reports of a fracas during a night out, allegedly involving Wales International Gavin Henson.
It has been reported that Henson, who joined the club last month, was punched during the incident in a city centre pub on Wednesday night.
A statement released by the club said: 'Bath Rugby can confirm there was a minor incident in the city centre on Wednesday night involving a few members of the playing squad.
'The club are investigating the matter as a priority and will only make a statement when further information is available.'
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed they received a call but that no offences are being investigated as officers were not required to attend.
Henson's representatives could not be contacted earlier today.
