Police are investigating the death of a 59-year-old woman in Port Talbot. Marlene Keogh was found dead at her home in St Asaph Drive at around 9.25am yesterday morning. Her death is being treated as "unexplained" pending the results of a post-mortem.
Door-to-door enquiries are being carried out and an incident room has been set up at Sandfields Police Station.
At this stage we are keeping an open mind regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Marlene Keogh.
We want to hear from anyone who saw or heard from her between 4.15pm on Tuesday and 9.25am on Wednesday when her body was discovered.
This is a well-established community in the Sandfields area and we are appealing to anyone who saw any visitors to the house or noticed anything unusual to contact the police.
