Royal Welsh Show 2013

The Royal Welsh Show has drawn to a close, after a 50th year at its base in Llanelwedd. 71,500 visitors came through the gates on Wednesday, making it the busiest day ever. The Prince of Wales was also there, talking about his new grandson.

Royal Welsh Show sets new overall attendance record

The crowds flooded in to the Llanelwedd showground all week.

A new record number of visitors went through the gates for the Royal Welsh Show this year.

The official attendance for the four days has been confirmed as 241,781 - that is 682 more than last year's total of 241,099.

On Wednesday, when new grandfather the Prince of Wales visited, crowds of over 71,500 made it the busiest single day ever.
