Royal Welsh Show 2013

The Royal Welsh Show has drawn to a close, after a 50th year at its base in Llanelwedd. 71,500 visitors came through the gates on Wednesday, making it the busiest day ever. The Prince of Wales was also there, talking about his new grandson.

Organisers of The Royal Welsh Show say it's celebrated 50 years at Llanelwedd with a record number of visitors.

241,781 people went to the four day event with 1000 from 40 different countries.

The Prince of Wales sent a message of thanks to the Royal Welsh Society for the warm welcome they received.

The show is said to generate around £40m a year.
