Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a cyclist died in Pontnewynydd near Pontypool.
The 63-year-old man, from Pontypool, was taken to hospital after an incident on George Street yesterday morning. He suffered serious head injuries and later died in hospital.
Three men aged 18, 19 and 23 and a 19-year-old woman, all from the Pontypool area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.
Gwent Police says officers are trying to establish the sequence of events leading up to the man falling from his bike.
