Four bailed after cyclist death

Four people arrested on suspicion of murder after a cyclist died following an incident in Pontnewynydd near Pontypool on Wednesday have been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

Police appeal to find cyclist's family

A 63-year-old cyclist who died after an incident in Pontnewynydd, near Pontypool yesterday, has been named as John Reeder.

Mr Reeder, who was from Pontypool, suffered serious head injuries and died in hospital.

Gwent Police says officers are trying to contact his next of kin, who are possibly in the Yorkshire or Humberside areas.
